Domaine Carneros is the California expression of the tradition and excellence of its founder, Champagne Taittinger. Since its beginning in 1987, Domaine Carneros has built a reputation on sparkling wines. In 1992, the winery added to its repertoire Pinot Noir, characterized by rich, red fruit flavor, layers of complexity and a velvety finish. All wines bear the Carneros Appellation, with 95% of the fruit coming from estate vineyards. In December 2007, the winery received organic certification of all Estate vineyards.
